Mini Marble pair (pups)

So nice Richard. Are you intending to keep them until mature as part of a breeding project? The pair I had from you grew really fast, especially compared to the Hystrix pup, have you/do you notice rapid growth in mm in general compared to Hystrix?

Hi Mike,
The mini's do grow fast ..yes. They are the easiest pups to raise, they take pellets almost immediately and gorge themselves at feeding time, because of this they prosper much quicker than the Hystrix, I find in general Hystrix to be quite slow growing compared to other pups.
This pair will be eventually sold.

That's interesting Richard, out of the three I had of yours the male is far lighter than the two females also,

Its a random thing base colour Rich, its not specific to male or female.
