I prefer my oldest pair,reason being I have never seen any others the same. There are a lots of mini Marbles about and as with all Marbles they range from top quality to quite undesirable ..........pleased you like this pair as much as you do Ade, you have an eye for quality for sure.
I'm guessing 2 pups for her first litter though she is quite large and some time to go yet,these Marbles have small pups so there could be four...fingers crossed!

I wish I knew if it's your care or if you just have access to incredible specimens but every Marble I see of yours just looks out of this world. These are definetly no different.

How big do these guys get and how much do they cost on average?
Males between 9-11" females 12-15"....there will always exceptions we are still all learning about them, if you look back on past threads on the subject it is quite unanimous that these smaller Marble rays do exist.....the locality as to where they are caught remains a mystery,all the Marbles that were shipped in the early days were big fish, slightly smaller than normal Motoro. It seems that 90% of Marbles these days are this smaller morph...someone must know the river system they are caught from in Colombia...anybody?
Price varies according to quality in all species of ray so I won't talk prices, if a person likes a ray then he pays the asking price or leaves it where it is...simple!

Not the biggest fan of Marbles, but here lately there have been some amazing specimens. Absolutely love the marbled pattern on those. Someone over here needs to get ahold of some of these!

Not everyone has a 10ft plus tank so it gives the ray keeper more options.
Lets not get carried away, they ain't going in a 6'x2x2' tank for life!

I know it's probobly not easy to get rays from the UK to here, BUT since I have a Marble from the Netherlands swimming here I'm keeping the faith that eventually one day I'll have access to your phenominal gene pool.

Even IF I could just simply learn to care for what I have good enough that they show thier true colors I still don't think they'd hold a candle to the quality you have.

Cant wait to see them. I think I am gonna leave my wallet in the hotel as I could get tempted. Having said that I am expecting some pups soon so the new tank may come sooner rather than later with the current one going out to the fish room to make a start!
