If you want rays and you live in Denmark
Then you have lots of ray breeders in Europe
Black diamond marble pearl scobina hystriz p14 you name it you stand a better chance of getting the rays you want in Europe than in the US
Also the prices in Europe are much more reasonable than in the US

Yes, ok. I guess im lucky then in some way
I just had my mind set on the Midget Marbles, but you know, some ideas stay ideas
The Scobina is also and idea, it has some "Motorori" dots, and i like that, it stays small to, so it would alot lots of swimming place..
I was thinking, the first months where the ray/rays (I kinda want a pair) settle in, it would be best to keep them alone, then i could possibly ad some discus to the tank or something, you know build the tank around it.
Do you have any expirience in shipping rays? I know that if i buy from a private breeder, im not gonna get that dead on arrival gurantee thing, but im ok with that, but if the chances are to large that they die on the way its really not worth it in my opinion.

Maybe theres even some Marble midget private breeders in europe somewhere
But the Scobina definetly looks nice aswell.
Many breeders in holland and Germany who ship world wide with no issues

Oh, yes is it possible i read your thread earlier about a pregnant female that was only about 14" ?
It was very cool.. From what i understand they grow to about the same size, as retics and hystrix. But there texture, is just so much more beautyful!
Do you think it would be safe to ship them from another country to denmark? (I know its never 100% safe, but are the chance of death high?)
I've had a 8.5" female give birth...... 14" sounds like a typical Marble to me.
As far as the shipping part, of course it's risky, shipping always is, but it will be up to the guy selling the rays as to whether or not he's willing to risk shipping. Something you should discuss directly with the person you'd be buying them from.

I wont be looking to buy just now, right now i live in and apartment, im moving soon tho, and then i will be looking to buy.
The floor in my apartment woulndt be able to hold a tank over 200 gallons, and in IMO and from what i have heard.
Im gonna get a 8 x 4 feet tank when i move, so ill have room for a pair to grow
