it's funny how little you know about fish and fish keeping!

Your setup looks awesome. :)

You started off with a compliment and before the end you completely switched to all negative.

some times people will learn the hard way and sometimes the majority is wrong. Well alot of fish are said to never get along or " that will kill every thing". I have gotten it my self. Maybe I am running on, barrowed time, or just have easygoing fish.

There are better better ways to give advice its called constructive criticism. Give it a try, I bet you get better results.

You completely understand what I'm saying.

I have never heard of an arowana being part of an RTC's "natural" diet. At some point, I am sure they have eaten them. However, as a diet? An arowana would be across a river before a slow rtc could gulp at it. Tripp, your response was rather ignorant though. No, your rtc will not grow as huge as the one in that picture unless it is in a 5000 gallon pond and given 20 years. Everyone here is just pointing out your going to have some problems keeping an rtc in a 75 gallon and arowanas with oscars.

your post is almost as ignorant as the op's.

hard to call ignorance when you follow it up the the aro not in the rtc "natural diet". redtails feed at night, aros sleep at night. big catfish/preds come into shallow water to feed, aros live in shallow water. redtails are lunge attackers so when it gets close enough to touch a whisker it is eaten. aros cant see them coming and they do get eaten often by rtc just like pbass and other catfish. what do you think it eats in the wild fillets and market shrimp? a redtail will not stop growing no matter the tank size, nor will any other fish for that matter. it will just deform and die before it would get that big in a small tank.

ps this isnt the 1st tank iv had people i had a 450 aoe the army i had to leave it

Then why the lack of common sense with the fish you thrown together in that tank of yours? You did have fish in that 450, right?
