You just don't see them in the USA, that mouth opens all the way to where the dark diagonal line beneath there eye reaches the bottom of the operculum.

They would be fine as far as hardness (12-20 dH) goes but the african lake cichlids seem to be right at the upper edge of the pH requirements listed for the G. aprion (7-7.5 in fishbase) one aussie site dealing with natives has them listed as 7-8 pH in which case they should do great. Temp. 73-80 F.
Just got back, when I called the lady said they were $11.95 but they were $19.95 and the lady who I spoke to had gone home 
They had small murray cods about 4-5cm for $11.95 and I was gonna get one of them but instead I got two Yoyo loaches for my cichlid tank and some frozen BBS.
