So I am wondering if there is a cool pleco out there that will stay in the range of 6-8" and still be sweet. Nothing thats crazy expensive or super rare, I am planning on stocking a 55g with some africans maybe and wondering what kind of sucker I can toss in with them that wont grow to be to big for the thank?

Whats a synos? I have never heard of them...

Synos are African catfish, so some are suited to a higher pH. Might be better if you are keeping them with african cichlids.
