These are a very awesome little fish. And for the price you can't beat em. Mine is the coolest 2 dollar fish i have ever bought.
Its unbeleiveable what they can fit in there mouths.
I was feeding mine guppies and noticed that it was also eating the flake food meant for the feeders.
So I went ahead and put him in the big tank a year ago. And now it eats flakes,pellets, gold fish, fat head minnows. Or just about anything.
I only wish I could find more of them. I would like to have 50-60 of them in a 150g.

Yup not a $2 fish anymore took awhile to find these plus there big so shipping them in was no cheap thing either. They eat little guppies and freeze dried shrimp
Well how much are they now?
I seriously used to buy these guys for 2.99 a pop at a lfs called feeders supply here in KY. The 1 I have now I got about a year ago at 4". Which is close to full grown.
I have not asked in a while. But I think I might here soon if they can still get them.

might be a different story there in KY, but apparently here they are going to cost 10x that much
