Mini Tiger Grow Out Progress

Here's an old video of my baby datnoids. I had 25 of them and got all of them except 1 to eat pellets. They're eating Tetra Color Bits in this video. They were about 1" back then. They were advertised at 2"-3" when I bought them and I was kind of disappointed they were a lot smaller when I got them, but everything turned out OK. They grew up to about 9" in a little less than a year.

Gage Zamrzla - This is a little off topic, but your signature states you probably know your stuff, lol.... But where is a good place (LFS or Private Sellers) to get good priced NTT Indo Dats, Tigrinus, or other exotics in Bay area?

I generally go to 6th Ave Aquarium or Superway Aquarium in SF and Hayward for my fish, both have a fairly good variety of larger exotic and predatory fish, Connie's in Castro Valley being another though they don't usually have too much in the way of exotics. 6th Ave is my favorite lately, the service isn't the best but you do get to net your own fish so there's no pressure in being picky when getting the exact fish you want. Their prices are pretty decent though some fish will occasionally be a bit overpriced. One other shop I've yet to visit but have heard pretty good things about it Exotic Aquarium in Sacramento, Temensis for $7.99. I don't know this to be fact but my buddy who does go there always speaks very highly of them and even when prices may be a little high you can't complain too much given the selection they have available. Hope this helps.

They have nice fish but I haven't seen any temensis fry yet.

I need help! I bought this 3" Dat about 2 weeks ago and he had a small scratch on his side from a puffer. The shop guy said that he should be fine but now the day has some white stuff coming out of a red spot near the back of it and it has the same thing on the other side. On top of that the Dat has something swollen with white stuff under belly almost under one of its bottom side fins. Will my Dat be ok?! What do I need to do to ensure that it will be ok? Or do I just bring it back and get a different one? I included pics below.

Each spot has red with a little white stuff coming out of it. Changed the water yesterday and it started swimming around a lot more. He are today as well.

Cleaned water again, put meds in and water cleanser for injuries/funguses. Did that 2 days ago. Just got home and my Dat is not looking good.. Looks almost like his body is coming out in between bottom fins... :(
