Yeah...because of the shorter growing season. It takes considerably longer to get for a LMB to reach 5lbs in Canada that in the southern U.S. so it goes without saying that fewer would be caught simply because fewer reach that size.



Those people are what are known as races, there are not different races of LMB.

Also the average size of a adult largemouth bass in America is only 10-20 inchs. I would like to see anyone who has raised a bass from fingerling or fry size to over 5 pounds in the home aquaria?
