Hi I'm new at bichirs and I want a P.Endlicheri I have a 250g tank and I'm wondering if that's enough for a fully grown up P.endlicheri And if thats possible how many can I have?

Thx for all answeres

It should be fine.As for how many I hate to say this because i'm sure i'll catch hell for it but for the most part I think tanks look best with a single large bichir as a centerpiece fish with other fish for more movement or a couple of smaller species with other fish for movement-Anne
just my thoughts tho

ya, i agree annie. I don't really like the tanks that have like 13 large polys and nothing really else. I mean, most of the time they have very nice polys in there, but they are pretty boring.

I'd probably go with 1 or 2 endli's, a large cichlid of some sort, and then maybe a hejueta for the top.

Okay, thx all! :)

why not both!! i have 6 endli's, a congicus, a lap, ornate, 2 dels and then a couple of big cichlids in a bocourti and geo surinamensis, 6 big dats, and a black aro and channa auranti for the top! works for me!! :D

um, do u perhaps have a 500 gallon tank? cause wow! just wow!
