Minimum Tank requirement for Motoro Rays

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Thanks again for all of the great info. I wasn't sure, being a noobie and all, where I should post it, but I look very forward to any additional info from any of you Ray folks out there. It will probably be quite some time before I can actually keep Rays, but in the meantime, I'd like to learn as much as is humanly possible about them. I was instantaly hooked when I saw how ABSOLUTLY GORGEOUS these varieties can get. I'm guessing that with time, and proper care, you could even get them to eat from your hands like they do at some of the more tacky Tourist locations around the country. Thanks again to any of you out there that have any pertaining info that I might enjoy. These things are REMARKABLE!!!!!!!!

Id say atleast 30" width and 72" length. I have seen a motoro with a 30" disc size, probably 42" with the tail. So a 96"x48"x24" (LxWxH) tank would be a minimum in my eyes for life.
like i stated. i wouldnt overstock your ray tank either, they r constantly growing and produce alot of waste.

cheers, pm me if u want more info, i can answer ur questions
