Minimum tank size for a Dovii

hey guys, what would the minimum tanksize be for a dovii, 180? bigger? if bigger how long would he be happy in a 180?

whats the dimensions of the 180? i think it will be good for awhile.

Some Dovii's top out at 16".
So I would say a WELL maintained 130 would work well, I've done it before.
Anything bigger than that a 180 for life.

most people will tell you a 240-300 gallon tank for a full grown dovii.
i think a 6 foot tank with a 2 foot width would be fine though.
6x2x2 is about the bare minimum, still looks sexy though!
mine will be in a 120 galon 5' x 1.5' x 2.25' soon enough alone with a possible female
if i find one.
well that's my plan, maybe well make it happen!

hmm, maybe ill get a 180 and shoot for a pair , worse that can happen is i need to sell the female or divide them , all i do is watch my fish anyway so ill notice any aggression.
