In a big tank they will once ina while grow to 16' . I have had 3 that got to 14 1/2 - 15' . The male that I have now is 14 1/2 and 10 years old . Two that I had were just plain nasty . The male that I have now is pretty laid back . The female on the other hand is starting to even flair at me and attack the siphon when I vacuum the gravel .
Take a look at the Florida WILD jaguars . Go to the bottom and look at state and world records .

I had a pair of jags in a 55 gal my male was about 14 inches and my female was around 8 inches a worked out great... I had spawed once a month and they were health as could be... But I didnt have any decor in the tank but a large rock and a slate.... SO I think a 100 gal would be perfect!!!

wow 21 inches that must have been a monster would have loved to see that mutha, I think I seen that sight before... :headbang2 :headbang2 :headbang2

my expereince is that green terrors have an overrated reputation, all of them i have had were sissies.plus they grow slow and a jag grows fast.
but it could worki. i have some mixes in my tanks that no one would beleive would work.

Who said 21" ???????????????? Thats pretty far-fetched.....

I didn't read any replies so sorry if I repeat anything.
Jags grow anywhere between 10"-18" typically, depending on if it's female or male (respectivly).
And saying what cichlid will get along with what is impossible. Some get along while others don't.
But, as a point of reference, one of my jags just killed my GT in a very short time period.
So, it's trial and error. You can try the two together and they could get along great and be happy the rest of their lives. Or, they could hate each other and try to kill each other. Basically, try it out and just be prepared to return one of the fish if they don't get along.
good luck.

Did you say you were putting a G.T. in with your ARROWANA!?!?No way,the only thing that should be in with an arro are things like Silver Dollars,Tetras and maybe a nice Clown Knife,a Jag will destroy a G.T. any and everytime.(just my opinion) I wouldn't go any less than a 55 gal for a single Jag(male or female) :WHOA:
