a tank with a 6'L x 3'W would be the BARE minimum

if its an asian aro a 4x2x2 is the bare minimum but if you could get the tank bigger the better

depends on the dimension of the tank

Easiest rule of thumb is 1.5 times the length of the fish is good for the smallest dimension of your tank.

5x2x2 should be fine. but of course the bigger the better.
