always the bigger the better dont cramp your fishes style and put them in a small tank my big aros are getting moved into a 300 pond in my basement untill there new 7500 raceway is built
funny most of us that have aros keep in tanks too small. i would think something with a length of 8' and width of 2' should be alright. but bigger is better.
Yeah, my aros only about 3-4" at the moment, but I'm looking at ordering a tank this summer (supposed to get a big bonus at the end of the school year) with a foot print of 8'x30". Does this sound alright for keeping the aro for life, or should I look in to getting a custom built with a 3' width?
