There are posts from people who have also kept these that insist 8x3 is the minimum. One of them in fact justified it ... not on the basis that it could be kept in a smaller tank.... but on the basis that the aro would repeatedly hit the lid in the smaller tank (6x2), but didn't do so after being placed in an 8x3.
Imo, smaller tanks are the reason many valuable and priceless pets end up on the floor, or end up killing other tank mates.
