Yes I personally would say a 225 is good. Biggest I've had is 18-20" never officially measured it but it was bigger than my Silver at the time which was 16". I agree they don't move much but when they eat man they are amazing and they are great pets. THey swim up to eat and let you pet them cool cats. Miss my guy.

Always wanted to get one of these but never really knew anything about them... interesting looking fish, although every time i do see them, they seem to be very chilled out and don't move very much if at all?

I believe aquascape had some 17-18 inch ones pretty recently for like $600 or something.
