I know this question is always debatable, but am becoming very intrested in arowanas and would like to know, what is the minimum tank size to keep any arowana?

like I said a million answers I consider a 180 minimum but this is a very touchy subject.

a 180 (6x2x2)would be minumum for temperary purposes

300 ( 8x30x2 or 6x3x30) would be BARE minimum for arowanas 4 life

width is most important for arowana the tank should have at least 24 inches in width, a 5x2x2 tank would do, if you could go bigger the better

I agree with the 180 being bare minimum, but 300 is much better.

to keep a silver for along time, Id say a min of a 180 (6'x2'x2') I have mine in a 120 (4'x2'x2')
