Minimum Tank Size.

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
being that you have AND Endli, your tank will be decently large. one grows to 12", the other grows 26-28"+

To the above two, talking in gallons is pointless with fish like polypterus, footprint is what matters. If the tanks you are talking about are the "standard" 120g/125g that are taller than they are wide then forget it. IMO you'd want something with a 5x2' footprint to house and endli for any length of time.

senegals will fit into a 3x2 easily for life coz they dont grow large but if you also want to get an endli than you might need a 5x2 or 6x2

I meant a standard 4x2x2, which IMO, would be fine for an endli.

Okay, thats an endli out the window, and asking for an ornate is just stupidity. The tank is only a standard size 5', about 1.5' wide I think. Johny, you could probably help, regarding bichirs in Australia and there size??? Any ideas for a available bichir here in Australia for that footprint?

senegals and delhezi will fit in your tank....senegals max out at 30cm and delhezi at 45cm....you may be able to squize in a delhezi considerin its 5 feet long your tank :D
