For those using a mirror to enhance the flowerhorn's nuchal hump, when is the best time doing it?
Is it best using the mirror before or after meals? & how long should the mirror be used?

Sorry but is this your own experience or you many other, as i always do it
It give me great results for kok size and make the fish give it's best colors

for me i use for 30 to 45 min day after day and no matter before or after meal
 
I stick a mirror in with mine before feeding for about 15 mins, 3-4 times a week.

Females will fight their own reflection as well, it just depends on an individual fish, some will stick fighting the reflection, some will fight it for some time and quit, some will not even entertain the idea.

Thanks for the info.. I'll try again tomorrow to see if it flares at the mirror..
