misc fish

I like what your doing with the feeders constantly in the tank, I have a shoal of guppies in with my barracuda, birchir, jaguar, pike cichlids, and LSN's. I think its much better for the fish to feed at their own will

I have found over the years that with fish that dont gorge themselves rather eat maybe once or twice a day, its easier and a way to make sure that they get food when they want it. With the armatus it works perfect as he likes to stalk and hunt his food...with a large shoal of fish in the tank I have watched him basically single out specimens from the group and stalk them for almost an hour before "pulling the trigger".....then he will not take another for sometimes a whole day later.It is a pretty cool behavior to watch that you would otherwise miss by dropping food in randomly.
