I get my rule from the fact that you don't really know if that's a "rule" or not.. You assume because it may be in the bible that it's true or that the bible is word for word the way Jesus wanted it. You can follow the bible word for word if you like but I don't think anyone could tell you you would be right by doing that.

/Alright enough christian talk for me. I respect everyone's own opinions. But be a little open minded to others not believing all of the bible, or not digging someone telling them they're condemmed or haven't seen the light.

I can't help but note that the times when this debate gets close to the line of not being "civil" it comes from your side not ours.

I think that if you were familiar with the Bible you would know that Jesus said the Word of God (the Bible) was God's own words, and more specifically His own words.

It just makes me chuckle that people will take something from the Bible, like Heaven, claim they believe in it and are going there, but the don't believe what the Bible says on how to get there. I just don't know how you can make up your own rules. What if my rules are different? What happens when we die? Someone has to be right...

there are times where i think of that but then i think of rest of my family and fish
