missing black ghost knife

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I didn't check the filter. I can check when I get home. The new theory is that the leporinus and the ghost got into a turf war over a preferred log and the leporinus simply beat him to death and the scavengers cleaned up the mess....

Want to share my experience with this. I just recently added a black ghost to my 75 gallon tank. He came up missing the next day. I searched hi and low tore all my filtration systems apart. Went through all my gravel. Went through artifical decorations rinsed out any hole or openings. Finally gave up after hours of searching. Night time lights came on a I noticed him swimming around. No idea where he went but I was super excited! Hope this helps.

It's a ghost knife.

I wonder if he ever found it, those 5 years ago.

Eaten by what though? The gar is super aggressive but the same length and half the size of the
Ghost...and why go after the ghost with so many feeder fish available and after eating 2 dozen guppies? Just doesn't make sense...

Your frog most likely at 7 inches it wouldn't of been hard for it to shred it apart
