Ok so i'll cut 2 the chase, im missing a synodontus and a corydoras, both have mysteriously dissapeared, the synodontus almost immidiately after i let it free in my tank a day ago and the corydoras just last night.

Anyone have a clue? there are no dead fish anywhere either, i know the synodontus hides during the day but there really is only one place 2 hide and its not there, does it dig into the ground? anyone know?, as 4 the corydoras, its an albino, the gravel is black, yet not a sign of it, i have 2, now i only have one :( i dont like losing fish, its driving me insane.

1. Do you have decorations in your tank? Remove it to check if all the fishes are in the tank.

2. And might we ask what are the tankmates of the corys and syno before they disappeard.

3. Have you check the floor, do you have other pets like cat in your house?

i had 2 of 3 synodontis disappear on me too. no decor to hide in my tank and i stripped it all out yet nothing not even remains and i had sand at the time. i still dont know what happened to them.

tank mates are 10 white clouds and 6 danio, its a new planted tank, and yes i checked every plant, it just went poof!.....gone, very strange, unless the tiny little white clouds had a feeding frenzy...lol, imagine being nibbled 2 death.

I do have very fine gravel mixed with sand, thats why i was wondering if mayb it digs itself in. It was damn cute, just over an inch and a half, almost white with a couple of black spots, and expensive i might add.

its an external filter, and i was smart enough 2 put foam around the intake 4 the little clouds, i cant think of anyway 4 it 2 get outta that tank, its also got a lid and the water is only about 3/4 cause im planning a paludarium.

lmao.....i found the synodontus, u'll never guess where......curled up in the suction cup of my heater, it's not properly secure so he must have squeezed in there, kinda an odd place 2 make a home, i guess they dont like plant cover as much, but still no sign of the corydoras.

Behind the other suction cup? lol. He'll probably turn up too.

maybe the synodontis ate it...lol, i know they have a real big appetite, i was wrong though, its probably an inch at most. mayb less, i like my mm & cm.
