well about a week ago I was cleaning my 50 gal and could not find one of my clown loaches! Mooved all the furniture in the tank, looked in EVERY nook & cranny, NOTHING!:irked: Today I followed up on a tip about the filter, and wuddayaknow...
... There was one freaked out little loach! LOL:ROFL:
Those guys can get into the oddest places:ROFL:

yea. i had a loach that i had to keep removing from my filter. the filter was old and had a small hole and it kept getting in. changed the filter lol

I had 2 that went up in my filter. The basket fell off one night and i found them up there. There where in bad shape but there doing great.

They love to hide. Look where you think they can't get.

Clown loaches rule, I realized about 2 weeks ago that they can hollow or tunnel into driftwood and make a home. Mine all pile into the hole in the wood when the lights go out.

Glad to see that you found him good and well.

I have 9, and they disappear at night, all hudlling in hiding places. They like to sleep with some cover. My Platys do the same.

well he wont go near the filter anymore. LOL Im happy for that. At least I dont have to look for him there again. (I still check every day though)
