R.I.P.

you were not wrong for wanting to move him into a bigger tank, jus wrong for moving him in with a 10" silver arowana. a 4" fish is very smll, especially a jardini.

awwwwwww.... nice intention just a lil bit off timing.
sorry bro... :( still check out the places he couldve jumped or hid,
i personally dont think ur 10inch silver will eat the 4inch jardini.

however, if it did, u shud see ur silvers tummy a lil BIGGER than ussual.

my brother once had a missing jardini too, 12 inches and had a whole tank to itself. then one day it was gone, we searched everywhere, drained the tank too, but it was no where to be found. We figured it would eventually stinked up but nope. Till this day it is a mystery.

i thought it may be stuck in the pvc overflow pipe so i took it out and check too, still no luck,,,,,,,,,, i got the silver and the jar at the sametime, about the same size too, but the silver out grow the jar by a mile, are all jardini really take that long to grow? I don't think i'm gonna get another jardini, probably add another silver, or black if I can find one

Read the jardini tankmate sticky thread. Jars aren't exactly the comm tank type... And jardinis only get about 3 and a half feet rather then the possible 12+ of a silver so naturally they are going go grow much slower. If you wanted this to work you would need a very large tank and would have to get a slightly larger jar to begin with.
