Seems to me you are saying; "It ain't broke, but, I can still fix it"
maybe you should be saying;"It isn't broke, so, nothing needs fixed"
or
Haul it downstairs, clean it, clean it again, reseal it, let it dry, test it, empty it, haul it back upstairs, set it up...
there is no way to tell how long a seal is going to last, because there are too many variables...
how well you do the reseal, the type of silicone, how clean the glass is etc...
If done correctly it will last as long as you will have the tank...
I mean it doesn't leak now, you think, right?
