I didn't even really think about what I was doing... I pulled the her... Off the floor pried her mouth open... And started moving her back and forth in the water. She wasn't responding and MY wife was telling me that she was dead long before I picked her up!!
But I read that thread about how many had revived there WET fish from empty bags.. And I remember how Scat attempted to keep one of his kelberis alive and the system.. So I tried and tried.. About 2 minutes passed and I was going to give up.. WheN!! She TWITCHED!!!!
MY wife was freakin out.. Going "NO WAY!! NOW F'N WAY!!!" And I said hold on... It could be just spasms.. NOPE!! OVer the next 15 minutes she was able to right her self.. And is now stressed at the bottom of the tank!! Her liveliness started at the head and SLOWLY was able to move different parts til she Was able to move her whole body!!
I thought for sure in the beginning that she was going to be paralyzed from the head back and I would have to euthanize,. Now I am just hopin she makes a full recovery!!!
This fishes eyes were sinking in... The slime coat was gone! She was dry and STIFF when I picked her up.. I picked up one of my Deppi in the same condition LITERALLY two days ago.. And didn't even think to try anything.. But Bigspizz gave me this Cincta and I am quite attached.. So I guess out of instinct I just tried... And Vuala!! That is my story!!!
Don't be sorry. Fish die. I have lost 2 out of 4 of my bass. And my female lyonsi And my big 18" dovii.....Now that we have tasted those, we need to get some real pikes Like some lents, marms, or green, or blue cincta's...Don't let me find some X-III's! I'll empty all of my tanks, and buy them all.
