Mixed black diamond with my pfs.... whatcha think?

So I felt my fish were losing a lil color with the bright pfs. So I bought black diamond blasting grit. I took probly 30lbs of my pfs out and added 25lbs of the blasting sand. I think it looks pretty sweet.

Thanks. I like it much more this way. Dims the tank a little. Took these pics Thursday just before taking my 2 month old to the hospital for the second time in 4 weeks.

Little one is doing better. Should be home Monday. She's had some severe bacterial infections and when your that young its pretty much impossible to stop them.

As far as the tank goes it really brings out the fish more and they seem a lil more active with the darker mix. Bichirs look much better with it too

Definitely looks better darker! I had to mix several sands to get the mix I desired. I used pool filter sand, play sand, black sand and fine marine sand to get it right. I'm very pleased with the results and have it in all 3 tanks now!
