When mixing fish there is no hard set yes they will all live happily everafter.Some things to consider tho are temperment of all fish concerned for cichlids you want ones that are considered generally non-agressive.Also consider the size of those involved they should be roughly the same size plus or minus an inch or so.Large sized cichlids should be kept with medium to large size bichirs.-Anne
