Mixing Different "shaped" Tangs?

I would not put a purple in with an established yellow in a tank the size of yours..both are Zerasoma family... i would put something like a Acanthurus family such as atlantic blue (adult colors), gold rim, orange shoulder, powder brown, powder blue just some examples of the Acanthurus family
 
Well the yellow will be moving to the bigger tank, so he wouldn't be established.. they would both be acclimated at the same time, and have to pick there territory and such at the same time too. but your right, Maybe a Powder blue will be nice in a couple months once I can be sure the system is stable enough for one.
 
the problem with powder blues are they are The ICH MAGNET of the ich magnets ..the only luck i have had with powder blues is the one i got from live aquaria's divers den section and i have had him for about ~5 months now and doing great..every other powder blue i have ever had never made it out of QT most lasted a week with 3 weeks max but i still cannot keep yellows for more than ~6 months.next time i try a yellow iam gonna get it from dd section aswell
