Among Metynnis, they mostly all get along and become groups. However, depending of ratio of males/females in a particular group, the 5-6 fish can be very peaceful and harmonious, but also very rambunctious; regardless of species. Easiest is when more females in the group. In addition, too small a tank is usually the limiting factor. What size is your tank?
