mixing treefrogs

The ONLY successful frog mixing I seen are Gray Treefrogs, with Green Tree Frogs, Squirrel's Treefrog and Narrowmouth Toads so far... and they are all from Florida.

I am sorry if I came across harsh. I did not mean to. I own nothing but frogs they are my passion. And it irritates the heck out of me when people mix. Nine times out of 10 nothing good comes out of it. And as you say 2 week, 2 months down the road when there is a post saying why is my frogs sick why did my frog die, they fail to mention they had 4 different kinds of frogs crammed into a small tank.
I just think if people do any kind of real reasearch into the frogs they are getting they will know that the requirements are different and mixing is frowned upon.
I know some people think of frogs as disposable pets as most are pretty cheap and some people buy them on impulse. I think all pets no matter how cheap or plentiful should be researched properly and have a set up ready before they even are purchased.
I did manage to refrain from the commenting on the pac man / walking frog combo. I get nice points for that dont I ?

sorry mam,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,jk,,,,,,,I didnt mean you were a mean person,lol.Thats whats good about this forum.We have ppl that really truely care to the point where we can forget that we sound a little edgy at times.You obviously care so your comments are welcome.I know sometimes you just wanna go to some of these ppls homes and shakem up,lol.Ah,we just dont want to turn anyone to being afraid to ask questions in fear of being too flamed.I could never see frogs as disp.Post some pics of yours some time.WTF and tamatos are on my wish list.
 
I am hoping to be breeding WTF by the end of the summer and then hopefully my tiger legs I posted in the frog picture thread next spring. ( check them out I posted new pics today)
I just got some new frogs in today 1.1 Si anthony tricolors ( but i think they are 2.0) and 1.1 Pasjena tricolors
Going to fatten them up and hopefully get them going before too long.

BUt I do apologize for being edgy. I have a tendency to do that on occasions.
 
well i thank you all for the info. You could NEVER discourage me from owning herps:). And i also don't think of frogs as disposable. I also don't think you were to harsh, you just deeply care for the frogs. I just won't mix the tree frogs. However deciding i want another frog, i think i will get a chubby frog (asian painted bullfrog) for my ten.
