thank you very much richard. interetsting that you are only the second person to comment after several days, especially on such a nice marble at such a small size. but its unfortunately what ive come to expect from this and other forums.

my kids had a great visit to wharf when i dropped of the male i had and cant wait to go back. we will return because of the friendly staff even though its quite a treck for us.

i hope you passed on my comments to the staff at the time.

many thanks again.

gaz, yargnits.

Hi Gaz,

Its no surprise to me your pups turn out as nice as they do with a father like him (pictured) WOW!! He is an absolute beauty! If I didn't know better I would say he was a Marble x Pearl. I remember seeing him a longtime ago and thinking he was a nice ray but he has improved further. You want to be keeping that guy....really really special.

Thanks once again for your comments on the shop and yes I did pass on your favorable comments to Becky, the girl that looked after both you and your children.

thanks richard.
tbh your comments reflect the reason i always ask about pearls and the same reason i asked similar about your rays recently but your reply left me with no doubt that there could be no natural cross of marbles and pearls in the wild and there were no captive bred rays when i found this one.
the male is a wild caught marble from columbia i got him in 2007. marbles were hard to find at that time and i was lucky to get him especially considering how he turned out. the spines on the tail are straight and in a singular line.

this male has been my main point of reference when considering mrbles.
my male seems a bit different to normal marbles but thats what he was sold to me as and even thought pearls have been mentioned to me i have been reassured by others as well as yourself that its not possible that marbles and pearls can cross in the wild.
you can see why i have asked you the question regarding natural marble pearl cross in the past but as you said it cant happen.

i have to say thought that the offspring are looking good. there are two mothers ofc and you know of both of them although it maybe a long time ago. the pups look great regardless and i thank you for your nice comments. :-)
