bak in Hong Kong when i was small, when i havent started keepin fish, i remember eating barramundis, chinese perch ( steamed) ... and snakehead for soup.... gotta say, they were pretty good ^^;; ... of course, they were from supermarket, not lfs....

trust me,cichla taste better than barramundi,but not as good as snakehead IMO.
if i ever found a chinese perch,i would keep it not eat it!

it looks like that cause i de-scaled it.
plus it was only dead for about 3-4 hours.
