It's been a week since he was last fed. How long should I leave him to settle in before trying to feed him?

sure your not a jungle book fan,lol.He sure looks healthy,my brazilian was a biter but it dosnt realy hurt so dont worry about that.Brazilians just got a bit more color but yours looks great!He realy looks cool as far as feeding he looks well fed,how big is he?
He's around about a foot long. Just waiting to show my mum him when she gets back from my grandmas, then I'll try feeding it. I don't want to feed it now because I wont be able to handle it for my mum without the risk of regurgitation.
The guy at the store was pretty cool. It was £95, which is the most I've ever spent on an animal, but he threw in a couple of months worth of food, and a free book Of course he'll make a fortune out of me in the long run when I become addicted to snakes

Sweet, yeah you shouldnt handle the snakes for about a day or two after they eat... the regurgitation smells FOUL!

Haha the tanks not that pretty, just a faunarium with some cocopeat and cork bark. I'll maybe get some shots tomorrow, I feel I've disturbed her a bit too much today
Side note: She's eating She took a pinkie mouse before. I removed her to a bare 3G tank for the feed to stop substrate ingestion, and hopefully she'll get used to that. Took a bit of prompting with a long paintbrush prodding the pinkie for "movement", but she struck and ate nicely Not used to the striking though, need to get used to seeing that, I jumped a bit! The pinkies seem a bit small for a meal for it, but I have another 5 left. Can I feed more than one at a sitting? I might try two next time if that's the case, then move onto fuzzies.

If it can take one pinky, it can probably take two. If it can take two, it can probably take a fuzzy. Worst case scenario: The fuzzy is too big, he spits it out, your out 3$
