Not sure if I've posted but here are some "Aussie" Moba for ya.

Nice deep colors mate. 1M3F? Are they breeding age/size yet?

Unfortunately I have moved those fish on, was supposed to be 1M 4F but ended up 3M 2F. I got 1 spawn but didn't strip and she spat.
It's probably the same everywhere but not all "Moba" are the same so you can't go off name alone.

Yea, agreed mate. It’s not too hard to distinguish a blue Zaire/Congo variant, but as to the exact collection point anymore, very challenging.
I pretty regularly see Tanzania & Zambia types being sold as Moba or Zaire. Buying from proven & trusted sources is a must.

What were the marks on the males head & snout in the 1st pic?

Pretty sure they are just marks on the glass, you can see more that aren't on the fish.
That male went very dark after a while for some reason.

Very true. I didn’t see the other marks on the glass

These guys have settled in pretty well now. They are actually much less skittish in the smaller tank than they were in the 500 gal. Peculiar I know, but the visible evidence of their behavior is clear
