ive looked through google pics at red dragon and malau and i can find both that look like my fish.
can anyone tell me the rule of thumb of determining the difference ????
im new to flowerhorn. i know they have awesome personalities and so far they are my favorite fish to keep.

I believe malau has golden monkey genetics and other malaysian genes yours is just a quality zhen zhou red dragon. Looking good though even with bad pics I can tell he is an awesome wet pet.
