What would be some fairly rare, tolerant, CA cichlids that i could breed in a 55 Gallon tank.

Our water is hard and i want something that there will be a market for.
I was thinking Neets, Grammodes(idk if they would fit)

Any suggestions?

You could probably succeed with either of those, especially since grammodes are such slow growers. You probably would get the neets to breeding maturity quicker. Cubans could work too, they are usually slow growers like grammodes.

I like them, but theyre so common i'm worried there wouldn't be much of a market for them.

Cubans would work? If they would, that's what i'm gonna do.

Sajica are some beautiful fish...dwarf pikes, though they're SA.

Yeah i like the Sajica, they're just kinda small for my taste. I like dwarf pikes but i doubt they'd breed in our water.

Archocentrus centrarchus wopuld last a little while.. Maybe life.

Also Archocentrus Multispinosa

Or Cryptoheros Cutteri seem to be making a come back...

aequidens portalegrense Or similar species...
