A) Your story continues to change as the thread goes on. Why didn't you tell us about this magical neodymium modification from the beginning?
B) You say you applied the magnets "around the outside of the motor inside the box". Unless Topfin (never owned one) filters are different from other HOB filters, the motor is potted in epoxy inside the casing - There is no room in the "box" to apply your magnets.
C) As far as my knowledge of engineering goes (admittedly, not all that far) you can't usually just attach bits of permanent magnet around the outside of a motor and improve its efficiency dramatically.
Could post a picture of the "Neodymium magnets around the outside of the motor inside the box"?
Sorry I didn't explain it clearly. I did not like how the filter upgraded so I changed the procces.
More info on the magnets:
Neodymium magnets have replaced Alnico and ferrite magnets in many of the myriad applications in modern technology where strong permanent magnets are required, because their greater strength allows the use of smaller, lighter magnets. Some examples are

I'll see what I can do with pics. When I take my filter down, I'll post them
What I wonder is why you even created this fantasy...
Try looking inside the "power box" before you start hypothesizing about how you could modify it. Did you get the idea from the Dyson handheld vacuum commercial?
Please, no more pointless cut-and-paste articles about neodymium magnets!
Sorry if this comes across too rough, but you have done nothing to show that what you claim is even remotely feasible.
