Mold issue

I have 3 tanks going in the basement 220 30 and 20 gallon tanks and there is some mold on the opposite end of the basement my mom claims it's from the tanks what do you guys think?

It's very possible with the evap from the tanks. Do you have full tops on all of them?

Because in Wisconsin we need to button things up so tightly in winter its very easy for the evaporation and dampness to get out of control. I find covering all tanks and sumps necessary if I don't want constant mildew and the like.

You can get a hygrometer at most hardware stores. Just test the various locations and if humidity is 70% or above you have conditions for mold.

Hello; I run a dehumidifier during the cold months to keep the humidity down.

dehumidifier be my ideal also if you have no way to put a vent fan in. will still need a way re move the water, 5 gallon bucket work, just rem to empty it every day.
