Mollies in saltwater

I'm sure it can't be done same day

Ive done mine same day, and had 100% success. If you are worried about it, put them into a brack set-up for a few days and then your salt-set up.

İve done it before. İ had regular ones and İ read that you just introduce them to salt water slowly so the water they are in slowly gains salinity

ive sen an idiotic friend of mine that works for petco drop several mollies in a salt tank straight form the fresh, and they were still there several weeks later.

it can be done the first day, I recall people at a store I worked at try to feed some black mollies to one of the wolf eels in the display, and the ones who weren't eaten lived in there for a while...wouldn't do it without acclimating myself, but it can still be done though

Hmm, ok so I guess I was wrong. I guess they can take it, but if it were me, I'd do it a little slower

Mollies are tolerant of FW (provided the hardness levels are not low), BW and SW. Yes, increase salinity slowly to avoid osmotic shock. Use marine salt when you are trying to replicate brackish to marine conditions.
