We got this from petco, where the pets go, Jk. But um they said lier-tails, But they have the sailfin????? Um.... is this possible? And the last one just looked cool.

well it said assorted lier-tails. so we got a few...... And i got to looking at sail-fins on google and the one with the big fin looks like one.

Sailfins usually have a more flamboyant dorsal fin than that. Lyretail refers to their forked caudal fin. Not all mollies have that so they specifically label those as lyretails. Not really a big deal. Just one of those common names with no basis scientifically.
