thanks for the links i think ill be going with that and trying to get her hooked to get a 20~30g for the dining room type area with a species tank (this works with anything ive ever done even video games )

White Cloud Minnows

Apart from being small and super tough, they have the added benefit of liking cool water (unlike bettas), a plus as most 3 gal tanks won't have heaters.

I think you should do some Celestial Pearl Danios/Galaxy Rasboras. They are gorgeous and tiny.

School of neons would be fine. You could do 5-7 neons in there, make sure the tank is planted and you do regular changes. Use RO water.
