how much info do you need to give to get a "postal money order"?? is it obviously from the post office??

I've always used a credit card or debit card for online purchases. I suppose you could use a money order for whatever reason, but that means going to the bank and then mailing it to the dealer. Sounds like kind of a hassle to me. Never heard of a "postal money order".

yea this dude only wnts paypal or POStal money orders... no CC allowed.. so i 'm trying to figure this out...and not look to stupid while doing so...

Is there a way of checking up on the guy to see if he's legit?
I only say this 'cause there are tons of scams out there.

well, with paypal, you are somewhat protected in case the guy never pays.. with MO, you dont have the protection.

just walk into ur local post office and ask for MO, tell them the amount and they print it out. you fill in everything such as payable to, etc. you can only pay for the MO with cash or debit card, no CC accepted.

You have some protection with a money order in that you can put a "stop payment" on the check if you're not satisfied with your purchase. The problem is it's almost always already cashed before you get the merchandise.
