Well the short vacation changed the feeding schedule... And there may have been a misfeedign while I was gone.. I caught wind of it.. But am unsure what exactly happened... This batch is no longer :( But they are the longest batch to live with so many with the parents so far :) the feeding schedule is in my opinion the Gauranteed issue in this loss..

they need to eat every few hours and I was gone for around 72 hours... :) Anyway :) Waiting for the next one :)

hey bro,
i wonder if it were possible to keep live food in that tank for days?
like plant some tubifex/blackworms in the gravel?or keep a supply of fairy shrimp in the tank?

Fairy shrimp... Are those fresh water?

Black worms would.. But they are too large for the first month!:)

Hhhmm.. Looking into where I get them and how to raise them :)

:) Thanks Me too :D

I know this is an old thread but have you had any more luck breeding the p/bass??? My female has had about 7 or 8 batches of eggs but only 1 turned to wrigglers which all died within 4 to 5 days.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated, they tend to do everything right but soon after the laying process the male starts attacking the female & the eggs go flying all around the tank.

cheers,
Volkslid

Joey(tongue) no longer keeps fish but I'll let him know that you are trying to get some info and see if he will post something up on here. There is a bit of info on this site as well as others if you do need some before hand. He is supposed to come over to my place some time this week though.
