Mono, no?

I think my Cichlas are very similar to yours. I'm mainly judging by the fact that the black line extend right through to the end. They are not showing much colors though yet. Still about 2" in size. How big is the one you are showing in the last picture?

About 5-6" They are mono - I found the parents.

All my occels have had bright red eyes even when they were only 2 inches. Im no expert but id have to say mono as well

I'm not good enough to know much about identifying cross breeds and such yet... sure looks similar to my monos though, there's mono in there somewhere if not full.

edit: guess I forgot the part where you said they are mono. sorry!

My Cichla @ the Local Pet Stores in Hoftman Estates and Bowlingbrook were labeled as Cichla Ocell for months even though I told them Monoculus everytime I saw them.

Those look like mylossoma aurem to me, I think duriventre are all silver.
