I have come to notice over the past few days that my mono seabae's are developing some sort of weird mouth problem...

First it was just one and I thought nothing of it, figured it was some sort of injury from bumping into a rock or something.. but now all 3 of my Mono Seabae's have giant swollen mouths... looks red and inflamed.

anyone know what this could be? i did a water change to try and help things heal up but other than that I am clueless for this disease. I fed today and they still ate so thats a good sign I suppose but this doesnt look as if its getting any BETTER...

I can post pics if necessary.

Please help!

I don't know what it could be, however I would try to post some pictures if possible.

If its fungal or bacterial (red and inflamed makes me lean towards bacterial) then a proper regimen or Pimafix or Melafix and or Quick Cure should help out.

Pictures for sure. Have you noticed them swimming against the glass at all? Could be an injury, but if there all "injured" then it may be disease. Have you noticed any white cotton like formations dangling from the mouths at all??

no white cotton formations, just seems as if they're mouths are giant for their body now, swollen and red.

I'll be honest, I don't know if it will do anything to your bacteria, but I guess since you asked, i'm not 100% sure.
