Monodactylus argenteus and algae on rocks

I think it will eat the fleshy parts; how often depends on what and how often you feed them, I ASSUME. I would though feed them more spirulina or kelp or other plant matter than what you give livebearers. Though I really believe if you clip kelp to the tank it'll felt cut down on mangrove mutilation.

thanks for the info. i have plenty of kelp that i can feed them. i would have to lose my trees. looks like i'll need to weight out the pros and cons. thanks for all the help.
