Monster ..19" Panaque

He is a L191 green royal..

I didn't know their patterning changed so much as they got older. I have a giant pleco that I assumed to be a L191. Maybe I should start a new thread post pics for an ID myself.

I don't think it's an L191. They max out at 9-10" and do keep their stripes/colors. I've no idea what it is. An L-Big Fish?

How do you know L191 only grow 9-10"
It is an L191 as they grow the stripes break up.
Some panaque grow to 60 cm in , Its just shipping the big ones

nice fish! but thats definitely an L203.

191 doesnt have yellow on the spiny pectoral fin rays, and the slope of the forehead on your plec is closer to that of L203.

The L190's get up to 18" or so but not the L191's. I've seen lots of pictures on here of L190's that were well over a foot but every single one of them still had their stripes.
Who told you it was an L191?

I didnt know L203 look like that...I have 1 but still very small...
